A writing and typography workshop
BlogGroup is where the essays become publishable: the engine, the draft workflow, the typographic experiments, and the Ukrainian letterforms that make the page feel like mine.
It is not a product yet. It is the workshop behind the public writing.
The center is simple: long-form essays should feel closer to a well-set book page than a feed. The page should hold English and Ukrainian with the same care. Drafts should move from private to public without changing homes.
What it holds
- A FastAPI blog engine for essays, archive pages, tags, feeds, and draft visibility.
- A private/public mode so unfinished writing can stay near the published surface.
- Typography experiments around optimal line breaking, bilingual hyphenation, and margin notes.
- GoudyInitialenUkrainian, a Cyrillic drop-cap set for Ukrainian ornamental initials.
Why it exists
The personal site is the front door. BlogGroup is the room with paper on the table, type specimens on the wall, and drafts still breathing.
Leadcraft will use this workshop when the writing is ready. Essays will use it when the engine earns the migration. For now, it stays quiet and close to the work.
